Preserve beauty - protect dignity - maintain value

KEIM has been committed to the preservation of historic buildings for over 145 years. The world's leading specialist in mineral building protection will also be represented at the "denkmal" trade fair in Leipzig in 2024.

KEIM is an expert and reliable partner when it comes to monument protection. Historically significant buildings such as the Kelheim Liberation Hall, the Benedictine Abbey of Melk in Austria, the Luitpoldbad in Bad Kissingen or the original paintwork of the Schwyz Town Hall from 1891 and the residential and commercial buildings in Stein am Rhein from 1900 impressively demonstrate the quality and durability of KEIM's mineral paints. The secret of their unsurpassed durability is the silicification principle, the absolutely UV-resistant pigments and the high-quality raw materials.

The KEIM presentation at the "denkmal" will focus on the KEIM Purkristalat and the titanium dioxide-free facade paint KEIM Unikristalat, both of which have proven particularly successful in the preservation of historical monuments, in addition to a well-founded range of services. KEIM Purkristalat was developed by A.W. Keim, the founder of silicate technology in 1878, and gives paints an incomparable, lively and fascinating appearance. With KEIM Unikristalat, it has been possible for the first time to formulate a purely silicate-bonded faรงade paint that sets with significantly less tension without the addition of dispersion binders than is the case with classic two-component systems. As products that do not contain the white pigment titanium dioxide are increasingly in demand in the preservation of historical monuments, KEIM Tisenza, a new titanium dioxide-free sol-silicate interior paint, has been developed. It offers a natural, timelessly beautiful finish, is highly durable (NAK 1) and has outstanding physical building properties.

For concrete renovation and concrete cosmetics, KEIM Concretal is a complete system for restoring visually poor surfaces and damage to the originally desired concrete appearance. Especially for the refurbishment of ageing concrete KEIM's mineral concrete system, consisting of mortar, paint and glaze products, offers added value, particularly when restoring ageing concrete buildings. For professional implementation, durable products are required which, for example, do not differ in gloss level from the exposed concrete surfaces and allow maximum flexibility for precise adaptation to the property. The mineral KEIM Concretal system, which is similar to concrete, fulfills these requirements perfectly - for a naturally matt and aesthetic concrete surface.

Energy-efficient refurbishment measures are an essential part of the exciting interplay between past and future. KEIM insulation systems impress with a completely mineral coating structure for durable and clean faรงades and are also used in listed buildings. KEIM insulation systems set new standards in sustainable faรงade protection and use the principles of building physics to reduce the infestation of algae and fungi as far as possible - completely without biocides.

The fact that all KEIM products are particularly sustainable and have an outstanding ecological profile is proven by the Cradle to Cradle Certifiedยฎ certification in silver, which has been awarded to over 65 products from four product groups. All KEIM products have also achieved the C2C Certified Material Health CertificateTM in Gold.

Visitors can experience the benefits of the products in live demonstrations: Leipzig Exhibition Center in Hall 2, Stand D03.
